About Myrtlewood Golf Club

Myrtlewood Golf Club was the Grand Strand’s first multi-course property, opening the PineHills Course in 1966, followed by the Palmetto in 1973. The quality of both layouts and their central location helped drive Myrtle Beach’s emergence as the game’s most popular destination and they continue to be courses golfers build trips around.

Both layouts have undergone greens and bunker renovations projects in recent years, ensuring Myrtlewood’s popularity will endure long into the future. The Palmetto Course, the first in the Myrtle Beach area to play along the Intracoastal Waterway, offers dramatic visuals and an Edmund Alt design that builds in drama throughout the round.

PineHills is one of Myrtle Beach’s most player-friendly designs, combining the creativity of Arthur Hills’ architectural work with premium conditions to deliver an experience that brings players back every year. The course’s character-filled greens complexes, which reward precision on the approach and quality recovery shots, are among the highlights of a round at PineHills.

Delightful as the golf is, the good times at Myrtlewood don’t end when the final putt drops. The clubhouse, which features an inviting deck, overlooks the Intracoastal Waterway, so stop by for a post-round meal or drink.

Reviews

Played the Palmetto Course for the first time in 8 years and had a great experience. The course was enjoyable to play and conditions were good. The staff is first class and a pleasure to deal with. My wife and I were matched up with another couple today and had such a good time we agreed to meet again tomorrow and play the Pine Hills course. We are staying at Myrtlewood for 2 months and definitely made a great decision
